On May 2, 2026, VMFH retired the MyVirginiaMason patient portal and introduced a new patient portal and mobile app from CommonSpirit Health. This change is the first step toward a unified patient portal for all Virginia Mason Franciscan Health patients.

What you need to know:

  • Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, including Virginia Mason Medical Center and Virginia Mason clinics, is a member of CommonSpirit Health, a national health system caring for patients and supporting healthier communities across the country.

  • We are live on the CommonSpirit Patient Portal and Mobile App where you can now continue to access your health information and manage your care.

  • While the portal you use to access your health information online has changed, your care is not. You will continue to receive care from the same trusted providers.

  • Your historical health information will be preserved on the MyVirginiaMason portal in a read-only format. You will continue to have access to view your information, or you can call your provider directly.

  • Online bill pay will be accessible through your MyVirginiaMason Portal for services received before May 2, 2026.

  • Certain Virginia Mason Medical Center clinics/departments have transitioned to the VMFH MyChart portal currently in use at VMFH. Both VMFH MyChart and the CommonSpirit Patient Portal are Epic-based and can be linked. The Virginia Mason departments/clinics transitioning to VMFH MyChart are:

    • St. Anne Hospital Asthma, Allergy and Immunology at VMMC (Lindeman Pavilion, Suite 101)
    • St. Anne Hospital Hematology and Oncology at VMMC (Buck Pavilion, Suite 200)
    • St. Anne Hospital Infusion (Buck Pavilion, Suite 200)
    • Franciscan Specialty Infusion Center at VMMC (Health Resources Building, Suite 200)
    • St. Anne Hospital Palliative Care (Buck Pavilion, Suite 200)

Next Steps

  • To continue managing your care online, please sign-up for a new CommonSpirit Patient Portal account and download the CommonSpirit Mobile App.

  • If you already use VMFH MyChart and have a MyVirginiaMason account, you’ll still need to set up a CommonSpirit Patient Portal account. However, you’ll be able to connect your VMFH MyChart account to your new Commonspirit Patient Portal account using these step-by-step instructions.

Your health is our top priority, and we are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible.
