Refer a patient to Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (via Patient Transfer Center)

Our dedicated Patient Transfer Center team is available to help you access our inpatient services and connect you to a Virginia Mason Franciscan Health specialist within minutes. We will work with you and your patients to ensure the highest quality of care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
 

Request a trauma transfer to St. Joseph Medical Center's Level II Trauma Center

Our Level II Trauma Center at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma accepts trauma transfers from EMS and hospitals inside and outside of our system in accordance with protocol, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  

Please call the trauma transfer line at 855-872-8626 (855-TRAUMA6) to request a transfer to St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma. The Trauma Transfer Line is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are answered by a Transfer Specialist.

  • Does your patient have documented atrial fibrillation?
    Atrial fibrillation is recognized as a chronic condition that necessitates a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach, given the array of comorbid illnesses and numerous effective management options. Our Atrial Fibrillation clinic is dedicated to providing patients with personalized care from our expert cardiac electrophysiology providers who prioritize shared decision-making and a holistic care approach to ensure the best outcomes for your patients. They will create a customized plan for your patient, including stroke risk assessment, modifications to address risk factors, various testing alternatives, as well as a range of strategies for managing atrial fibrillation.

Clinical Trials

At the Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason, our physicians and researchers are always enrolling patients for hundreds of ongoing clinical trials, including multi-center national studies.
