Whether you choose to have your baby at a Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Family Birth Center, our Midwifery Birth Center, or at the Virginia Mason birth center in Seattle (now open!), you’ll receive personalized care and support from two of the largest health systems in Western Washington. We're committed to exceptional care that puts you and your baby first.

We offer two great options for labor and delivery: our Family Birth Centers located throughout the Puget Sound region and our new Midwifery Birth Center, located on the St. Joseph Medical Center campus in Tacoma.

Midwifery Birth Center tours are part of the Midwifery Birth Center orientation class. For more information or to see if you are eligible to deliver here, please make an appointment with one of our certified nurse midwives.
