Interim President, St. Anthony Hospital

Keith Sprague serves as Interim President of St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor, where he provides strategic and operational leadership to advance quality, patient experience, growth, and organizational performance. He brings more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience within Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, having begun his career as an ICU nurse in 1999.

Throughout his tenure, Keith has held a variety of leadership roles across inpatient, critical care, and service line operations, including Market Director of Cardiovascular-Critical Care Operations and Executive Division Director for the Center for Cardiovascular Health across CommonSpirit’s Northwest Region.

Most recently, he served as Vice President of Operations at St. Joseph Medical Center, where he led hospital operations and drove improvements in key performance metrics, growth, volume, and operational excellence.

A collaborative and mission-driven leader, Keith has successfully led multidisciplinary teams, expanded clinical programs, and advanced quality, operational, and financial performance across the organization. His deep commitment to patient-centered care and operational excellence continues to strengthen St. Anthony Hospital’s role as a trusted healthcare provider for the communities it serves.
