Through pain psychology classes, individuals learn a wide variety of evidence-based techniques for managing chronic pain. Our goal is to create an engaging, informative and empowering experience focused on the acquisition of effective and practical skills.
New patients referred for pain psychology services begin the process by completing a series of four pain education and coping skills group classes with our pain psychologist, Dr. Jennifer Kelly.
All classes are delivered via Zoom and are 60 minutes long. Participants will receive a link to join the Zoom class session on the day of class. Classes are offered Wednesdays at 11 am and Thursdays at 2:30 pm on a rolling basis.
In the classes, we learn a wide variety of evidence-based techniques for managing chronic pain. Our goal is to create an engaging, informative, and empowering experience focused on the acquisition of effective and practical skills. Once you have completed all four classes, you will have the option to follow up individually via video visit with Dr. Kelly to create a personalized pain coping toolkit.

The insurance codes billed for the classes are: 96164 (1 unit) + 96165 (2 units) to equal 60 total minutes, for a diagnosis of chronic pain (G89.29).
