Dr. Waldman was an undergraduate at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. She graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. She was the recipient of an Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship and completed medical studies in 2004 at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC.
She completed an Internship in 2005 at Camp Pendleton Family Medicine Residency, Oceanside, California, then moved to Bremerton, Washington, to complete training at Puget Sound Family Medicine Residency in 2007.
From 2010–2011, Dr. Waldman completed an Advanced Obstetrics Fellowship with intensive training in high–risk obstetrics at Swedish Family Medicine – First Hill, Seattle, Washington. She followed this with a Faculty Development Fellowship from the University of Washington Family Medicine Residency Network in 2014.

Dr. Waldman and her immediate family - her husband who is a family medicine physician and two young daughters - enjoy a very active lifestyle of traveling, jogging, camping, hiking and kayaking. When she is at home, she loves to cook and read. You will also frequently find her on the tennis court, another passion of hers.
