Outpatient Therapy Services

The road to recovery after an injury, surgery or illness is uniquely personal. For that reason, we create individualized plans with your specific goals in mind, bringing together the expertise of experienced physical, occupational and speech-language therapists with advanced therapies based on the latest research. Your therapist will work with you to establish goals and develop a personalized care plan that specifically suits your needs.

Comprehensive therapy services

If an injury or illness has made it difficult to perform daily activities—like getting dressed, driving or cooking meals—an occupational therapist can help. Our program will help you develop goals and create a plan to reach them.

  • Occupational therapy services

We can help you or a loved one regain functional independence in daily living activities, in the workplace and in the community. Our comprehensive services include:

    • Body mechanics, designed to improve posture, coordination and stamina
    • Geriatric rehabilitation to help seniors remain independent, including our SAFE program for fall prevention
    • Hand and upper extremity therapy to help restore or improve functional use of the hands, arms and shoulders
    • Lymphedema therapy, including manual lymph drainage and custom garment fitting
    • Pediatric occupational therapy with specialized services for children from birth to age 18
  • Physical therapy services

After an injury or surgery, physical therapy can help restore or improve flexibility and range of motion and relieve pain. It can also help reduce the need for surgery and prescription medication. We have experienced physical therapists who work with you one-on-one to understand your needs and create a plan to achieve your goals. Our services include:

    • Body mechanics, designed to improve posture, coordination and stamina
    • Geriatric rehabilitation to help seniors remain independent, including our SAFE program for fall prevention
    • Help for vestibular (balance) disturbances
    • Lymphedema therapy, including manual lymph drainage and custom garment fitting

    • Pediatric physical therapy with specialized services for children from birth to age 18
    • Pelvic therapy to improve conditions such as incontinence, general and pregnancy-related back pain, pelvic pain, pain with intercourse, and more
    • Techniques for managing headaches, including a variety of treatment techniques to treat migraines, cervicogenic headaches, and cluster and tension headaches
  • Speech-language therapy

If you’re one of the millions of people affected by a cognitive, communication or swallowing disorder, speech-language therapy is an effective treatment option. Our experienced team of therapists can help you understand the nature of your impairment and fulfill your functional potential. Our comprehensive program focuses on all areas of speech-language pathology:

    • Cognition (attention, memory, reasoning, judgment)
    • Communication techniques
    • Geriatric rehabilitation
    • Neurorehabilitation
    • Pediatric speech-language therapy
    • Swallow evaluations and techniques
    • Voice therapy

Pediatric rehabilitation services

Children have specific rehabilitation needs. That’s why our physical, occupational, and speech-language therapists have specialized training in treating children from birth to 18 years with orthopedic, motor, language, cognitive and social/emotional delays. We customize each treatment program to meet your child’s needs and provide your family with the information and education you need to make progress at home.

Pediatric conditions we treat

In addition to providing a comprehensive assessment and treatment plan, including home follow-up, many of our patients benefit from our more specialized services, which include aquatics; positional and adaptive equipment; Dynavision, a visual acuity and cognitive processing tool; and more. We offer treatment for:

  • Autism, cerebral palsy and other neuromuscular disorders
  • Developmental delays
  • Feeding and swallowing disorders and food aversions
  • Gross and fine motor delays
  • Orthopedic injuries
