Oculofacial plastics—or oculoplastics—is plastic and reconstructive surgery of the upper face, including eyelids, tear ducts, eye socket and facial rejuvenation procedures. It is a subspecialty of ophthalmology that deals with functional as well as cosmetic problems of the structures surrounding the eye.
Some examples of conditions treated: functional eyelid problems, orbital disease, tearing problems and upper facial rejuvenation.
