James Lee, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist who sees patients for foot and ankle concerns, with a specialty in wound care management and soft tissue dermatological infections. Recognizing that care is a collaborative effort, Dr. Lee takes the time to get to know his patients and to explore the connection between the environment in which they live, work and play and their health outcomes. When Dr. Lee numbed my big toe, in order to remove my toenail, I was expecting extremely high pain. He used a technique, however, that I had never seen used before. That was, to squirt the injection sites first, with a freezing compound, then to inject the numbing med right away while the area was briefly sensing the extreme cold. It was a perfect way to mask the pain from the injection of numbing meds. I was pleasantly surprised! Thank you, Dr. Lee!
