Dr. Risse enjoys getting to know families and being a partner in a parent's care of their child. She also loves working with the children themselves, who light up the room with their boundless energy, curiosity and playfulness. She feels privileged to be able to serve as a source of information and reassurance for children and their families through both times of crisis and good health.
Outside her practice, Dr. Risse enjoys sailing, skiing and playing tennis with her husband and three children.

Dr. Risse was incredibly supportive, going thru with us the possible issues impacting my child, and saying that she would confer with her colleagues with the unknowns. She wrote back to me as soon as she had all the lab results back and after talking to her colleagues to inform me of her diagnosis and what to do next. I appreciate the care and consideration, as well as quickness, that she took in caring for my child.
