• Advanced therapies: We are one of the few programs in the region capable of treating the most severe cases of vascular disease. Our team includes doctors in a variety of specialties, including aortic disease, venous disease, peripheral artery disease, carotid stenosis and hemodialysis access. You have access to state-of-the-art medical and surgical treatments that aim to prevent life-altering events like stroke and amputation. We also excel in treating less common vascular conditions. 

• Collaboration: Vascular disease specialists work alongside other Virginia Mason Franciscan Health specialists to coordinate care for complex conditions. We regularly work with kidney doctors (nephrologists) to manage venous access for hemodialysis. The team also partners with heart specialists to ensure safety during minimally invasive aortic valve replacement procedures.
