Membership Circles and Societies

Generations of donors have helped to ensure the highest quality care to the communities we serve.

To recognize the generosity of donors who help make our vision a reality, the Foundation has several Annual Giving Circle and Society membership opportunities.

Membership allows donors unique opportunities for recognition, dialogue with hospital leadership staff and interaction with other donors. Members enjoy the following courtesies:

  • Invitation to the annual recognition reception
  • Invitations to special events, lectures and receptions
  • Recognition on Donor Wall per policy
  • Periodic e-updates, keeping you updated on how your support is making a difference

Friends Society

Friends Society members are Friends of the Foundation who enhance the health of those we serve by making annual contributions of $1,000 or more. Gifts can be unrestricted, or directed to any one of our funding priorities.

Heritage Society (formerly Tau Society)

Anyone who includes a Virginia Mason Franciscan Health foundation, hospital, facility or program — in his or her estate plan becomes a member of the Heritage Society. These donors have made provisions for Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in their estate plans, such as a will, trust, life insurance policy, retirement plan or irrevocable pledge, or through a life-income gift, such as a gift annuity or charitable remainder trust. These gifts ensure that financial resources are available to meet the health care needs of future generations.
