More Than 75 Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Experts Recognized for Clinical Excellence and Patient Care on 2025 Top Doctors List

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) today announced that more than 75 of its health care providers across the Puget Sound region have been recognized on Seattle Met Magazine’s 20th annual Top Doctors list. This prestigious peer-nominated list honors outstanding doctors, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners across over 90 specialties for their clinical expertise and dedication to patient care.

“Every day, we have the incredible privilege of witnessing our providers make a profound impact on our patients' lives,” said Hans Cassagnol, MD, Chief Medical Officer for Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. “Having so many of our providers recognized by their peers is a powerful testament to their dedication to clinical excellence and compassionate patient care. We celebrate every individual named on this list and every team member who contributes to our vital mission each day.”

All nominated health care professionals were reviewed based on years of experience, competency, rapport with patients, patient satisfaction and compliance with care recommendations, and ability to work effectively with colleagues across specialties to deliver the best patient care.

The recognized VMFH specialists span a wide range of critical areas including neurology, cardiology, cancer care, infectious disease, and allergy and immunology, reflecting the comprehensive and diverse expertise available throughout the health system.

Seattle Met partnered with the Professional Research Services survey company to poll health care practitioners licensed by the Washington State Department of Health in King, Snohomish, Kitsap, and Pierce counties. More information is available at: www.seattlemet.com/doctors
