Matthew Gentry

Matthew Gentry is from North Carolina where he completed his PharmD at Campbell University. His clinical interests include emergency medicine and critical care. During his free time he enjoys hiking, video games, walking barefoot on the beach at night with the ghost crabs, and hanging out with friends and family. He is excited for the opportunity to grow as an individual and professional as he makes new connections with the Virginia Mason Franciscan Health team.

Nancy Le

Nancy Le was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She completed her PharmD at Oregon State University / Oregon Health & Science University College of Pharmacy with current clinical interests in infectious disease, internal medicine, and ambulatory care. Her leisure time is spent experimenting with cooking, eating her way around town, spending quality time with family/friends, and camping. She is grateful for this opportunity to advance her pharmacy career as a resident with Virginia Mason Franciscan Health and excited to be working alongside peers and the team at St. Joseph Medical Center. Nancy hopes to continue expanding her foundational knowledge and grow as a clinical pharmacist so that patients can be provided with the highest level of care.

Joey Smith

Joey Smith originally hails from Mountain View, California but was raised in the Seattle area. He received his B.S. in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology at the University of Washington in 2018 and completed his PharmD at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy in 2023. His current clinical interests include oncology and infectious diseases. When he's not busy working, he enjoys drawing, photography and gaming. Joey is excited to apply himself, reinforce his critical judgment skills and explore his clinical interests within the Virginia Mason Franciscan Health system this year. 

Anna Tran

Anna Tran was born and raised in Vietnam, then immigrated to Tacoma, Washington, 10 years ago. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, she pursued her PharmD at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy. Her current clinical interests include pediatrics, infectious disease, and emergency medicine. In her free time, Anna enjoys listening to music, attending concerts, spending time with family, hiking and taking beautiful pictures of the Pacific Northwest. Anna is very grateful for this opportunity to grow her clinical skills and knowledge as a pharmacist with the Virginia Mason Franciscan Health team.

Ranita Tse

Ranita Tse is from Rowland Heights, California. She received her B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, and then went on to complete her PharmD at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy. Her clinical interests currently include emergency medicine, critical care, and neonatal intensive care. During her free time, she enjoys bouldering, trying new foods, and playing with her dog. She is grateful for the opportunity to continue her clinical pharmacy training with the Virginia Mason Franciscan Health team.
